At Essentium, we tackled this barrier head on. The HSE 180•S 3D Printer prints your parts up to 10x faster than conventional FFF printers.
How? By designing the entire machine for the performance needed to support our High Speed Extrusion printing process. The HSE 180•S 3D Printer uses an all linear servo motor X-Y stage, 3G acceleration, and 1 M/sec movement speed, giving us the ability to eliminate wasted movement while printing. In order to match the speed of the motion system, we created the most advanced direct-drive servo controlled extruder system yet. This combination of advanced motion control and power gives the HSE 3D Printing Platform not only the fastest prints but better control and accuracy over prints compared to traditional printers.
With increased speed and force comes the need for a world-class nozzle. The HSE Hozzle™ – Essentium’s proprietary nozzle – is an integrated heating and temperature sensing unit that achieves unmatched performance and can heat from 20 – 500°C in 3 seconds. It has a sapphire tip, giving you the ability to extrude the highest performance materials available.
