Formnext 2018 Recap

Formnext 2018 Recap

November 17, 2018

What a week! Essentium exhibited for the first time at Formnext, the world's largest trade show for additive manufacturing and had a great time.

Here are some highlights from our time in Frankfurt:

We had great conversations this week about our technology. A special thank you to everyone who came by to learn about our High Speed Extrusion (HSE) Platform, which we launched at the show, or our line of engineering-grade materials. Head over to our News page to read articles and interviews from the week.

It was announced that BASF Venture Capital is leading the Series A investment round in Essentium, Inc. and that Materialise is one of the co-investors in the Series A. This was a historical moment for our company as two global powerhouses came together to back Essentium.

While at Formnext, we released some of the results of a third-party study on trends in 3D printing. Let us know if you're interested in learning the results of the study.

Thank you to everyone who came by our booth. We look forward to seeing you at Formnext 2019!
